Church services

The growing congregation at St John’s is made up of all ages and stages coming together to worship, hear from the Bible and encourage each other. Children are always welcome. We have things for them to do within the main service.
We alternate Morning Worship with Holy Communion. All are welcome.
10.45am Every Sunday

Messy Church

On the second Saturday of each month, Messy Church happens and it’s for parents/guardians/grandparents and children. Enjoy crafts, stories, songs, and food. It’s light and fun in a relaxed environment.
Expect dressing up, lots to do, and a certain level of happy chaos!

Family occasions

We are here for you and your family’s big days, whether that’s a wedding, a baptism or when you’re saying goodbye to a loved one.
You don’t have to be a regular church goer – just come along and talk to us about how we can help.

Working as part of a team

We’re glad to be part of a wider team across North East Bradford, working alongside and praying with other parish churches and Sorted Youth Church.
At Easter, together we put on a Holy Week safari, so people had something different to go to every night of the week.

Bible groups

Living as a Jesus follower sometimes isn’t easy and we need each other. Bible groups are a chance to learn together from one another and God’s word. We meet most Tuesday evenings at 7pm and every Thursday at 1.30pm in the cafe area. No experience necessary and questions are always welcomed.

Prayers

Once a month we meet together to pray for the parish but individually we pray for our wider community every day.
On Sundays, or at any occasion in church, if you would like prayer please speak to one of the team. We welcome it when people ask for prayer. It’s a privilege to do so.

Accessibility

Both the cafe and church are accessible via ramps and we have a disabled toilet.
If we can be of further help, please ask.
